A house centipede stung my dog. Should I be worried?

Question:
We have house centipedes and for the most part my dog (Pomeranian-sheltie mix, 14.5 pounds and 9 years old) leaves them alone, but the bigger ones (the ones that are two inches or bigger) he goes after. Earlier today, a three inch long one stung him. Should I be worried?
Answer:
Although they can inject poison it should not be dangerous. However if the dog seems to suffer take him to your local vet. The smaller the dog the more you need to observe them.
