Question:
Its 3am my son just woke me up to be changed and i look up and there’s 2 of those monsters in the corners of my room. Now just so you know I freak when i see these things, I have a HUGE phobia. Ya i get dizzy, itchy and all! I go out to the kitchen there’s 2 more and 1 more in the bathroom. Im alone, a single mother to a 1yo lil boy. So i killed all of them (screaming while doing so) but now i cant sleep cause im so nervous there’s more and they will bite my baby. I have always had a big phobia with these things and all set with sharing my home with them. Iv read a few things but i cant afford an exterminator. My house is clean, not damp but they are coming from the basement. So i recently put new screens on the drains to the sinks and tubs, put tape over all the wholes where i think they are coming from but clearly its not working. Im stunned right now! I have no clue how they are coming up here. I have an unfinished basement, i know its a heaven for them down there but man how can i change that! ugh! If you cant tell im freaking out! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Answer:
Try to keep all your rooms dry. Remove any dust (mites and insects live there) so you starve them. Try over the counter insecticides.
